Change Notes
This update reflects a few things:
- New Tiering system
- Mauler Release
- Meta Changes
- Me changing my mind on some things
- New way to list multiple variants of the same chassis with the same build
I did a fuckload of little tiny changes in which mech is ranked over which, and honestly it was just too much to keep track of I’m sorry, though I will note the big movements. If it helps, think of the last iteration as Beta 1, and this is Beta 2, with the BV update as Beta 3, after which I’ll spend more time adjusting to any meta changes and publish the full Release.
That being said, I’m much more comfortable with this list than the first published Mega List – most builds are the same, but I feel that I’ve improved the placement of most variants and generally made a better product.
Oh yeah and I renamed it to the “Meta” Tier List, since it better reflects how the builds are just metawhoring and better distinguish it from my upcoming facelift on the IS and Clan Tier Lists.
Specific changes worth noting:
- Placement of all Maulers within Tier 3
- Changed the Arctic Cheetah’s build (reluctantly) from cSPL to cERSL
- Updated builds on Battlemaster variants are re-ranked most of them higher (particularly the BLR-3S which was just wrong)
