Hey guys, happy Saturday!
So while we wait for PGI to get BACK TO WORK DAMNIT I’ve just been doing all sorts of crap.
The first thing I’ve done is gotten started on my “something big” new years’ resolution, and expanded it to something bigs. I’m planning on writing an article, like a real article with time spent researching and editing and all sorts of fun stuff, to hopefully be published in a magazine or something. I’ve just got to figure out what magazines would be interested…I don’t want to give too much information away or anything but it has to do with looking at certain similarities between some modern games like MWO, WoT, War Thunder, Robocraft, etc. So, if you are in that field (I guess, video game journalism or journalism in general) and have any advice or would like to help this dream come to fruition, I’d appreciate it greatly and you can email me at gman [at] metamechs.com. If not, I’m still going to try to get it published anyways and have done plenty of Googling on the subject.
I’m still looking for another “something big” to do because this isn’t directly related to MetaMechs, but there’s plenty of little ideas floating around and some articles that I’m still halfway through writing (including a really long thing that’s basically a guide to being good at MWO gameplay). Whenever I come up with something, I’d classify it as small or boring (like hiring someone to make this site actually, like, look good ‘n stuff) rather than big and awesome.
Anyways, I hope this finds you well and let’s make a build of the week!
The range may be short, but the brawl is strong. It’s heat efficient, it’s powerful, and it is useless past 200 meters! If you can get in, though, you can tear apart pretty much anything with some incredibly high DPS and heat efficiency. If you get shot a lot, you’re going to have some problems, but if you make sure that they’re focused on somebody bigger and scarier, you can ruin their days. It’s not THE optimal 4SP build by any means, and it doesn’t take full advantage of the quirks, but it is damned good at what it does. Recommend SL range and SRM4 cooldown, and then just lean on the trigger and go crazy.
Bye-byeeeee
